Recently, I stumbled across a very useful feature on the web. While making reservations on OpenTable.com at a restaurant using my smartphone, I noticed that not only does the website publish user-ratings for the service and quality of the food, but also for background noise as well. As we all know, one of the best aspects of going out to dinner is the conversation that comes along with it, and if you the noise level is too high to carry on a conversation, well, then maybe it's not the place for you, particularly if you have hearing loss.
This can be a handy resource for people whether they actually use OpenTable.com to make their reservations or not. Simply head to Google and search for a restaurant along with the search term "opentable". One of the first results -- if not the first result -- will be the OpenTable.com page for that particular restaurant. The ratings will be right there [see image below].
